Husband and wife team Tom and Michaela Kitchin are the hands-on proprietors and their passion and ambition are reflected throughout the entire team. Together with Food & Beverage Director Philippe Nublat and Maitre d’ Sylvain Ranc they have formed an excellent team of Scottish and international colleagues.
In July 2010, the team behind The Kitchin together with Chef Proprietor Dominic Jack, launched Castle Terrace Restaurant – a sister restaurant of The Kitchin. Dominic Jack and Tom trained together in Gleneagles as young commis chefs, before they both went on to carve their careers under some of France's most known chefs. Tom Kitchin only cooks at The Kitchin, but the two restaurants share the 'From Nature to Plate' philosophy. Castle Terrace was awarded a prestigious Michelin star in 2011, a year after opening.
